Although our wedding day has yet to occur, I can already tell you that it would not have been possible without the team at Platinum Weddings and Events. My fiance and I made the decision to have our wedding in Austin, a city that we have fallen in love with over the years. Only problem - we live just outside of Boston.
Because we are having a destination wedding, the majority of our communication is completed via conference calls and/or email exchanges. They are very understanding of busy schedules, and can organize these calls at a convenient time for everyone. Every single question that has come up has been responded to promptly.
When it came to travel to Austin for walkthroughs, tastings, and other various meetings, it couldn’t have gone any more smoothly. Though we had a very busy several days, each meeting was scheduled effectively, and vendors were narrowed down to those that she felt would best match our personalities. They truly knocked it out of the park! We were able to condense what could have been several months worth of meetings into just four days. Not once did it feel like we were inconveniencing their team - it was just what needed to be done.
As someone that is very Type A and detailed oriented, I never thought that I would be able to relinquish any control of the big day. I have come to realize that it was by far the smartest decision I could have made. Each decision is still made by you - don’t make that mistake.
